Scrappy trip around - Thursday night

A group of enthusiastic ladies, armed with their machines and strips of fabrics, were waiting for Debs to open up on Thursday night. Letitia got them started and they were off and running......

Fiona was very, very happy with hers...............
Debbie, concentrating hard................

Jules and Leanne nitter nattering away .............
Judy chose Kaffe and a pink and grey spot - nice...........

Jane's colours - bright with black/ivory spot..........

1930's reproduction for Letitia - quite a change for her!!!!!

Here they all are - the very happy "scrappy trippers" !!!!!!

Some of us chose not to do the workshop.
Marlene's quilt in memory of Janet Smith is almost done - lovely hand quilted Baptist fans - beautiful backing fabric too. A very special quilt.

Jacqui had some beautiful Kaffe hexagons that she was hand piecing.

Denise was persuaded NOT to unpick this bit of vintage loveliness!!!!!!!

Elaine had some interesting hexagons - fussy cut to perfection...........
Jane and her seemingly endless amount of 1/2" hexagons!!!!!! Come on, Jane, you can do it. Try focusing on one quilt at a time?????

Jenny had a scrap quilt top to show...........
Letitia will be doing another workshop on the "Scrappy Trip Around" this Thursday.

For those of you who are wanting to join in please bring the following:
6 strips of fabric 2.5" wide by 17" in length

Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
Basic sewing supplies
"Unpicker" you will need to unpick 1 little seam.

What a lovely way to start the year!!!
Thank Letitia for the fun workshop.
