Our numbers were down last Thursday - but that did not stop us from being very productive.....................

While others got on with their own work - Judy seems to churn these lovely hand stitched quilts out!!!

Janice was finishing off a couple of sewing machine mats.

We are starting the group project on Thursday - two different hand applique techniques will be demonstrated.

Just a reminder that we are making these little pincushions this Thursday might. We will have some wool felt to purchase, so don't worry if you don't have any.

Lititia was given this vintage yo-yo quilt - I think some of us were a tad jealous!!!

Then she produced her 1"square quilt !!!! Quite something............................

Thanks to Judy we received our "Green tea and sweet beans" pattern book. Its time now to chose our fabrics for this group project.

On the night Jules was doing a bit crochet - a pattern from the latest "Better Home and Gardens".

For those doing the tiny Pincushion workshop on the 23rd you will need to bring the following:

2 5" squares of wool felt (different colours)

Milliners needles #7 and #10

Sewing thread to match your felt

Basic sewing supplies

Embroidery threads

WE will supply the bottle top, sequins and stuffing.

We were a loud, rowdy bunch last night!!
Tisha got busy with her scarf she is crocheting......................

Debs found it very convenient sitting next Tisha - putting her scarf-in-progress to good use!!

OH MY GOSH - Jane had ANOTHER project on the go!!!!

Libby actually did some stitching on the night!!!

Elaine, on the other hand, bought no work at all!!!

Donna is working on a cross stitch - quite amazing really - a photo of her Mother and grandchildren worked into a large cross stitch picture.

Jenny also had some hexies to work on - a scrappy EPP quilt.

We were all squashed into the backroom on the night - there was no getting away from each other......................... It was a lot of fun !!!

Supper was good too................

Gwen popped in to say hello and stayed a while - it was good to see her. Hopefully she will visit us again.
