Busy Girls with lovely creations and a bit of a tutorial

Thank you Sheila for the photos and words to keep everyone in the loop.

First prize of our quilt show raffle,  ‘Spring Garden’ made by Sandy  and quilted by the talented Judy of Furball Farm Quilting.

UPDATE:  Ooops.....a wee tad of confusion on the name of this beauty....Not 'Spring Garden' but in fact 'Springtime', so when you buy your masses of raffle tickets (yeah, lots...'cause everyone is going to want to be the winner of this lovely by Sandy and Judy) you will see the name 'Springtime' on the tickets.

Beryl made this cutie for her daughter, curved piecing started off in a workshop a few years ago, but she hadn't got around to finishing off the binding, Marlene came to the rescue yesterday to stitch down the last of the binding.

How do you fold your quilts for storage without creating permanent folds and or damage becomes a hot topic from time to time.  The current answer doing the rounds of the net seems to be fold them on the bias.

The above snip is from a tutorial on how to fold on the bias from Red Thread Studio   a great blog to visit with lots of tutorials and helpful hints on a number of crafts
