Busy Quilters and their Beautiful works

We have lots of eye candy for you this week, thanks to Jan, Sheila and Marleen for the pics and words.

EDIT: With apologies to Marleen, Debbie, Yola and the Thursday gals, unfortunately the pics and names are incorrect. Sorry gals - could bore you to tears with how that happens- But - all fixed now

Starting off with news from Marleen.
"A few pics from tonight. Only 8 of us game enough to venture out on such a cold night."

This beautiful quilt created by Yola
Leanne's work in progress.

Jules' lovely 2019 Friendship quilt, more Scottie dogs.

Debbie's finished 2019 Friendship quilt. Debbie quilted it herself, a 1st for her.

A little news from Jan on what she has been up to.
"Finished the quilt I was working on last meeting."

"I have now started on one my sister Wendy has asked me to do for her , she supplied all the fabric and a design . It’s a little bit of a challenge but I’m progressing well."

Pics from Sheila of Wendy and Karen W. working away on the tutorial Sue shared on the dodecahedron boxes and a closer view of Marlene's dodecahedron sides.

Having finished her beautiful dodecahedron made from silk ties...
Sue has moved on to another creation, this one's a polyhedra bowl created with the same pentagon shapes but comprised of 2 rows of 8 tiles and a base. Sue was just putting the last stitches into the last tile on Wednesday.
Tada -- the finished bowl
Thanks for an update pic Sue

More from Sheila,
"This is Pat's beautifully quilted quilt that was going to be an entry in the now cancelled Quilt show"

"Glenys is working on some gorgeous sashiko patterns"

"Sheila is having to add an extra third to granddaughters 2019 quilt as Sappho has moved from bunk bed to double bed. As it is a blue improvised quilt the add on will be similar to original quilt with many of same fabrics"

All groups have been asked to make something for the novelty stall at the Christmas Fair, something small that can be sold for pennies to the kiddies, and Sue, who really has had her creative hat on has come up with a brilliant idea.
Sue has shared a pattern for Christmas tree novelties for fair. The little pocket can hold a lollie.
