We’re excited to be launching Dandelyne Club, a fun new way to build your stash of Cosmo embroidery floss, Kona Cotton solids and Dandelyne mini embroidery hoops. So, how does it work?

Every second month, you’ll receive a Dandelyne Club kit. Each kit will contain:
3 x Dandelyne Hoops
3 x Skeins of Cosmo Thread
3 x 20 cm x width of fabric of Kona Cotton

Blimey, are we finally sneaking out of lockdown? sliding slowly back into life as we knew it??
Wonder when the other patchwork stores will be opening with classes? Give your fave a bell and check it out!

Another U.F.O and some interesting sites to look over

Wendy sent us a pic of this lovely, she also sent the story, and Ive lost it, not gonna bore you with the details, suffice to say, there is a little unhappiness in my little neck of the woods. (Big Sigh!!!)
But if I can remember the story it goes something like this...
Bought as a kit on a holiday in Hawaii (?) quite a few years back but when Wendy finally opened the pack, she found that the fabrics were nothing like those pictured.
As you all know, its the pic on the front of the pack that appeals. Result, unimpressed Wendy, but still she has turned out this cutie. Just love the movement.

Jackie has some lovely sites for us to have a look at:
Just thought of this story I heard.......from the Qld Spinners and weavers......
They are asking for squares from many avenues of textiles, all details come up when searching for Queensland Quarantine Quilt, some of our members might be interested.
Also I’ve just looked at the Facebook page of Qld Spinners and Weavers, WOW, look at a huge body of work from people all around the world, it blows your mind.......I only went back to early April.
That’s all folks.......Best Wishes.....Keep stitching.......Jackie

Ever heard of a quilt/wall hanging made from pretty hankies?,
this is another that keeps popping up on F'book.
Brenda Raleigh Lunsford, a member of the f/book group Scrappy Girls Club, folds pretty hankies into dresses, think origami folding. Brenda has a 12-14 min video explaining the method on Scrappy Girls Club, but you would have to do a search for it, however this link will take you to Bumblebee Linens for a step by step tutorial.

Brenda is in the midst of quilting her pretty little piece, you can see her work on this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqz8HSKDBKc&fbclid=IwAR1VsSyzzQ7JMxXwMlRHjJSj9Uno4IxSnkjUFXLXbDq-hj_jmJGZFoZNC1g
So make a cuppa and waste invest some time on the computer, who knows, inspiration may be just a click away
