It starts today - Friday 28th November 2014 at 2p.m......and as it's raining up here on the Sunshine Coast,what a great way to fill in some hours this arvo.
Our members swing into Christmas stitchin' mode after the Lyn Ballinger Challenge mid year, creating just about everything you can think of quilting wise, lots of the old favourites as well as some of the new and innovative.
Kiddies Quilts are in abundance.

And toys, the cutest stuffed toys, and balls for Bub, but you will have to visit to see those...(v-b-g)
Of course none of this would be possible without the behind the scenes workers who set up such a wonderful visual feast, starting with the intake of goodies.
Ailsa and Michelle were our intake gals who beavered away marking off sheets and making sure all was tickey boo

Then comes the setting up, Sue was our Artistic Director (not sure if that meant she was in charge of all things artistic or was a reflection on the way she
Sadly, by the time we patchworkers had finished setting up our section, so had everyone else, funny that ehe? so no-one to ask permission to take pics. However, got some from the Fabric Art gals next door, they always have such brilliant work and a wonderful range, of stocking stuffers and beautiful gifts, either for another....
