Not so mysterious workshop......

Janet presented the thread and needle holder workshop to the Thursday Night girls, of course there was no longer any mystery.

But first some lovely Show and Tell. Ooops, bit of a mistake there!, the quilt belongs to Sue, sorry Sue
Karen's Sue's disappearing 9 patch where she has left each block together after the disappearing trick.  This has given the quilt a William Morris effect - yet another variation on the ever popular disappearing 9 patch and it makes the quilt look delightfully 'old' style.

Di brought along a fabulous bag which she has just knitted and 'Felted' (by washing in hot water a lot!)  The bag was so cuddly and soft - great design as well.

Janet giving the girls instructions and directions, starting the workshop off with a swing.

Andrea bought her daughter along as visitor to make her own Thread Holder, here they are getting some finer points from Janet.

Well into the workshop and everyone working hard to complete their holder

Almost finished!, just gotta hand stitch those Suffolk Puffs to the body of the holder.

Ta Da!!, the finished Thread Holders, ever so pretty.
This is a pic of last weeks Supper, Pastel iced cup cakes from Leigh, scrumptious fruit, marshmallow and chocolate platter from Jane, and wonderful butter coconut cake from Debbie.
Wonder what they had for Supper tonight???
