Ailsa
'Ailsa's Row by Row Quilt'

In 2009 it was decided at the Patchwork Group that we would make some Row by Row friendship quilts for those who were interested in participating.
I joind in a group of 7 members, the rows were made with myself starting and then passed around to the others to make their version of a specified block type.
Only the first and last rows were makers choice.
I was very pleased with the contributions of the other members.  I joind them all up and completed the quilt finally in 2010
The inspiration was from Sue Andrew who organised it all.  It is a very nice friendship quilt for me to treasure.

Val
'Flower Patch'
Made for my brother and his wife to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Browns and Creams were their choice which was a challenge for me as they are not my favourite colours.
Machine pieced and quilted with a smidgen of hand quilting.
Design by Green Fairy - Judi
