There have been so many wonderful Easter Fairs held at the Cottage over the years, but none of us will ever forget the Fair that wasn't.
If you are feeling a little nostalgic and just want a feast of Fair eye candy, then slip back 10 years and come on a wander through the Cottage with me and perhaps visit your 10 year ago self, who never would have thought today possible.

Now make yourself your fave beverage, sit back and enjoy a few minutes reclining on the benches, gazing out to sea.
ahhhhhh. The serenity.
Or if you are more of a bush babe, this might be more up your alley.
Anyone identify these spots??, the correct answer just might get you a fattie....well, actually, it will get you a fattie. Your choice of colour range.
Some news and greetings from Jackie
"Sending this photo of fabric, I’ve been working with these colours this week, very bright, next time I go to machine I’ll be using another colour.
Andrea I did see your note about the sewing room competition, I sat and looked at sewing room photos when I had a cuppa late last week, three rooms came quickly to mind, I picked Karen W and Karen D quite quickly, I think Karen D you had something on your coffee table that you had brought up to the Kitchen Cafe at quilt show, and Sandy I spotted your kangaroo.......
The week has passed quickly, I’ve looked at a few YouTube’s of Karen Browns ‘Just get it done quilts’.
All the best, Take Care Jackie"
Sheila hasn't been slack either.
"36 blocks I have made using Japanese fabrics ( have had some long before I went to Japan. ) Although they look like drunkards path blocks I have cut them freehand ( templates is a swear word ) !
Below is a skirt I have made from my favourite shibori fabric I bought in Japan S"
Marie shared a story about the bickie recipe from the 'Cleaning Tip and Challenge' post.
Marie's internet has been down, now fixed (thankfully) but doing a catch up run through the blog she spotted the 3 ingredient bickies from 'One Pot Chef', Yep, Marie makes this very recipe but with the addition of 1C of crushed peanuts! As we all know, Marie is a dab hand in the bickie department and tells us that without the crushed nuts the biscuits are more of a shortbread type but with the nuts they are more than delicious, even beats jam drops! (Gotta be good to beat jam drops.)
So what are you up to in your kitchen or sewing space? feel free to share gals, it lifts our day to see what our stitching sisters are up to.
